Ignitor Nitro Opener

The 52nd Annual Ignitor Nitro Opener Drag Race is Saturday and Sunday at Firebird Raceway, 8551 Highway 16.

Firebird’s longest running event, the grand daddy 52nd Annual Ignitor Nitro Opener presented by The Blower Shop returns Saturday-Sunday, May 6-7.
AA/Nitro Funny Car qualifying is set for noon, 2:30 pm and 6 pm on Saturday, followed by final Nitro eliminations at high noon on Sunday. Testing will be available on Fri., May 5, for registered Ignitor entrants.
Originating back in 1971, this year’s Ignitor will showcase the second stop in the NHRA Hot Rod Heritage Series for a strong field of Nitro Funny Cars presented by Stinker Stores. In addition, Gold Cup competitors will battle it out in Super Pro, Pro, Sportsman, Sled/Bike and Pro Comp eliminator on both Sat. and Sun.

Firebird Spring Championships

The Idaho Army Nat’l Guard Spring High School & Alumni Series Race is Saturday from 9am to 5pm at Firebird Raceway, 8551 Highway 16.

Cars & Coffee Eagle Idaho

The Cars & Coffee Eagle Idaho is Saturday from 8:30am to 10:30am at Holy Cow Idaho, 1396 E. State Street.

We are very excited about cars and coffee on Saturday from 8:30 to 10:30 at Holy Cow off of State Street in downtown Eagle! We will provide Coffee for you! Remember the restaurant opens at 11 o’clock so for those of you that want to stay and eat and support Holy Cow please do.
